Hello! Im also having difficulties connecting my MI LED desk lamp. I have tried the steps outlined, but even with your account connected to Chinese mainland server, the lamp still wont connect to my router. It says connection timed out.
I’m not entirely sure regarding checking my router’s DHCP list, tried looking for steps online but to no avail.
Any help will be appreciated. I really hope to connect my lamp as my primary reason for buying was to check the Focus mode out etc, thank you.

same problem here from Germany. Have a first generation Mi Desk Lamp, which returns a connection issue whatever I try - I took all measures as mentioned above.
Please help / renew the passwords so that we can use our products as they are supposed to work.

I have an Yeelight Bedside Lamp II. I live in Slovenia and have MI ID starting with 62…, so Android Yeelight app has always said “Connection timeout” regardless of logged account and selected server.
Today I tried to install Yeelight app on my old iPhone and surprisingly it successfully connected to my lamp using my own account and the Chinese server. I upgraded the lamp software to 2.0.6_0022 there and now I’m able to connect to my lamp even with the Android app (the device was already there when I logged in).

I have similar issue. Yeelight Led Ceiling is detected by phone, i see in router it is connected and sending packets. The router has google DNS servers set 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Phone detects the light, but the connection is timing out. I tried Europe and China regions. Also tried the firmware update.
I did setup another Yeelight bulb 1 month ago, and it is working fine. But I am not able to add new one. Same with Mi Home Gateway V3. The internet connection is timing out.

Does anyone from yeelight replies from the recent questions. The yeelight tech accounts passwords are not working. I can’t try the steps they have given because I can’t log in to their account and install Mya lamp. @dingyichen can you reply or restore the password to yeelink1234 so I could try to install the lamp. I’m thinking of returning to vendor.
Hi, I have this problem and it is driven me crazy, I have 2 bslamp2 with the lastest firmware 2.0.6_0030 available and goes continously offline, and I have to unpugled then and plugin again every 12 hrs aprox. I tried everything and nothing helps me. Please, tell me what to do. Thank you.

Thanks @_guofeng for the help. I got the lamp to connect to the app after updating the firmware. I hope the password won’t change so I can still use the account in future products that may encounter problems like this.
