Bumpig this thing again, as it is STILL rediculous:

I own three Yeelight ceiling lights which I can perfectly add to the Yeelight app (Set to Europe) but I can’t add or see them in the Mi Home app (Set to Germany), which I want to soon use for automation with door sensors and the gateway.

Why the F* is it still like this? Could Xiaomi / Yeelight please stop this region bullshit of “things not officially sold in EU”? I CAN EVEN BUY IT FROM YOUR OFFICIAL ALI EXPRESS ACCOUNT AND LET IT SHIP TO ME!!! (https://de.aliexpress.com/store/5260219) How can that be considered “Not officially sold in EU”?

Please let us add ANY device to ANY regions and make your products reasonable! Otherwise I will also really stop using them and sell all of them. This is ridiculously stupid!

I agree with you, but you’re barking at the wrong tree… I don’t think Yeelight has any say in that. As a matter of fact, in Yeelight app, there is no such limitation. The limitation is enforced by Xiaomi…
