we are yeelight, MiHome is xiaomi’s application.
strange, but I did succeeded to login with xiaomi app and your account and the lamp was connected…
The account is, I believe, also Xiaomi. Yeelight has it’s own app but uses Xiaomi servers. And Mihome works with Yeelight, as the companies are partners (or some such)

I tired the above method but I still can’t add device. Used both servers mainland China and Singapore.
Have even changed the DPS of my router to 8.8.8.8.

Really disappointed. Router configured with Google DNS, tried with all servers, Using simple SSID and 2.4 network only… and still CONNECTION TIMEOUT ISSUE. I won’t buy anymore a xiaomi device.
