Urgent firmware downgrade request (2.0.6_0051) Home Assistant Unavaliability

That’s really strange, we can’t reproduce this problem in our lab. What’s your router model and anything special of your network topology or settings?

Hi, same problem: lights (colour and ct) go offline frequently without any reason (while lifx lights work without any problems in the same network). Could you please downgrade me as well? Singapore server, mi id 6245070457, software 2.0.6_0051

Already whitelisted, please upgrade the firmware and let’s know your results.

MI ID: 1661243535, German server, still don’t have beta update, Yeelight app shows “All are the latest version”.

Please kill Yeelight app (not just close and open, remove it from background) and re-open it.

You need to switch the lights to the china mainland server. That worked for me (used German server before). Then you can upgrade to 54

@weiwei

could you please add me also to the beta group?

Done

I have 3 Yeelights in one room
One color I and two color II
One of the new ones is on firmware 1.4.2_0035 and the other one is on 2.0.6_0051.

The updated one disconnects from HA after some hours, just like if the LAN control deactivated…
There’s a new firmware coming to address this?

Thank you @weiwei

Is there no new firmware for the light strip?
Because I have the same issue with it as with the light bulbs.
I only have been able to upgrade my bulbs.

I have a google fiber router. The only thing on my network that should be talking to the bulbs is home assistant. I do have IPv6 connectivity.

Is it possible that the bulb firmware is running out of memory? That could explain why the bulb takes a while to stop responding.

Please verify the new firmware on the bulb first, if it could fix the issue, then we can open light strip beta firmware to you.

I guess not, since Yeelight app is working properly, it’s not the memory issue. Do you use a WiFi mesh router or Ac+Ap?
I have encountered several issues here with Tp-Link mesh router.

I do not use a mesh router. I’m not familiar with Ac+Ap, but I have a basic WiFi router.

What’s your model of your router? We may think buy one to reproduce the problem.

Upgraded two bulbs to 54 firmware, Lan Control issue is still here.

Conclusion: firmware 54 haven’t fixed the problem, try harder, Yeelight team!

I can confirm tgat the new firmware fixed the issue on my side (so far). After the update everything works great (except the light strip :wink:). Also the ceiling lamps are working great (latest stock firmware)

4th Day and all three bulbs being monitored have not shown any disconnections. Firmware of bulbs i am monitoring are below
Yeelight Color II = Firmware 1.4.2_0035
Yeelight Color II = Firmware 1.4.2_0051
Yeelight Color I = Firmware 1.4.2_0076

I am using Ubiqiuit AC access point Unifi-AP-AC for the wifi.

For me the problem at the moment is unable to discover bulbs, therfore i will add them all manually to bring my automation back.

Finally solved!!! I was using an old version of homebridge-yeelight plugin. Switched it off and lamps work fluently! Maybe plugin spammed connections to lamps, by SDK there are 4 connections max, and lamp Lan Control stopped responding.

Yeelight team, please accept my apologies…

@weiwei

could you add me to the beta group?
Thanks
