Using yeelight bulb as alarm withouht IFTTT

I own SGS3 with Android 4.4.2 and latest IFTTT tends to bricks my phone…

Are there any other easy options to synchronise sunset/sunrise time with Yeelight bulb with other software?

Don’t you have the Yeelight app? If yes just select the bulb then tap the three dots up right corner, select schedules and configure the startup time-scene setting

how do you control the color etc without the yeelight app?

I’m about to buy the bulb… I’m checking if it works in my environment. I’ve got old phone and don’t have wifi router.
