Slightly dimmer is an understatement… it’s hardly a Dim… What is booooooooring, is poor excuses from some people regarding the appalling lack of support from Yeelight… I’ve been following this topic and a connectivity issue for a while, and it’s almost impossible to even get assistance with learning what logs they are talking about… it really should be this hard… It’s really becoming the definition of “buy cheap, pay dear”. When customer support ignores people, it really says a lot about the company…

I hope the new yeelight bulb 1S can solve the hardware issues like 1% too bright and the pink red colour. As I can see from the pictures, the internal LED structure has changed.

There is no whitelist anymore. The developers do not care to fix our problems. They fixed it in a beta version previously, and it was working great!
They can easily just open a whitelist for is again but they refuse to answer and help.

If you want to solve the brightness problem buy the new bulb 1S, it also fix the colour problem.
The other option is to notice the amount of people that request it for one reason or the other. There are multiple issues ongoing right now, that barely get any attention. If this is a possible way of getting something fixed, perhaps they should consider creating a self-service portal where users can subscribe to alpha/beta firmware themselves.
