Apparently recently Xiaomi started to disable LAN-control for their devices. On Yeelights twitter I read that Yeelight-BRANDED devices won’t remove the local (LAN) control. (https://mobile.twitter.com/Yeelight/status/1376824955405398018)
I was just about to purchase a Yeelight Crystal Pendal Light (Crystal Pendant Light-Yeelight Crystal Pendant Light-Yeelight) and a Yeelight Arwen Ceiling Light S Series (https://en.yeelight.com/product/1366.html)
I have 2 questions:
- Are these Xiaomi or Yeelight branded, in other words; will these support LAN control or not?
- Has anyone tried to get the Crystal Pendal Light or the Arwen S series working with Home Assistant?
