Way to make the Yeelight Led strip power on automatically?

I’ve combined my Led strip with a smart plug only to notice that whenever I turn off my smart plug and turn it back on the led strip stays off until I turn it back on using the separate controls.

I have multiple lights connected to the smart plug and all of them just turn off and on like they should. Is there a way to make the led strip behave like that as well? Would really like it to work out.

Did you tried to see if you can enable the defaul state, this will keep your light strip off when the power comes back.

Yeah I tried that. Problem is that they don’t even come on in the first place. Unfortunately those default states didn’t fix anything.
