Yeelight YLXD42YL cannot be found in Homekit

Hello,

I just received a YLXD42YL and I have been unable to pair it to Homekit.

I have followed the steps, scanning the barcode that came on the device, but the operation times out and Home app replies that “The accessory could not be found”.

I managed to connect the device the the Yeelight app and then also managed to update it to the newest version but the device is still unable to connect.

Can someone help me please.

Hi. Try resetting the lamp and pairing it first with homekit.
