cannot add device. download stuck at 25%

Hi,

The LED lightstrip does not add device. I tried adding the device and it goes through all the steps, the lights blink red, blue and green and then the indicator goes yellow. Then I enter password for wifi on app and then connect the yeelight network on wifi. When i go back to app it loads to 25%, stops, and then says cannot connect. Can you please help me?

  • use separate SSID for 2.4ghz and 5Ghz
  • make sure you’re connecting to 2.4gzh
  • use google’s DNS 8.8.8.8 on your router
  • don’t use special characters or spaces in your SSID (only alphanumeric and numbers)
  • don’t use special characters or spaces in your PSK for WiFi
