So i just paid for my Yeelight LED lightstrips and i was wondering if i will buy a motion sensor kit, can i just use that to turn my lighstrips off or on? i don’t really care about the motion sensors regarding the security part, but i want to buy it only to turn my lightstrips on and off when it detects motion. Does it work?
Yes, there should be gateway in the kit and you can turn the strips on on motion detected. just pay attention that all devices are in the same region (i.e. China), you can’t i.e. buy bulb in Europe/USA etc and kit in China…
