Same here, solved removing the app with clear cache and data, reinstalled, use European server and then removed the saved network and re select again. The timeout issue is now resolved.
Firmware was already the latest version.
Only Alexa is not working with them

I have 4 bulbs in total, 2 white and 2 colored. After resetting my modem-router, I tried to re-connect them, with no luck. I am getting the “Server Error 1011, please try again”. I am trying to use the German Server.
