so - just to be crystal clear…

I can add all my yeelight and mijia lights to yeelight app. Set lan access for all. Link yeelight to google home for yellight lights. And link Mi ome to Google home for Mijia lights - even though I’ve not added them to MiHome…???

Once you add any lights to Yeelight app it will be in MiHome. And other way round. They use same cloud infrastructure. Ofcourse, if you use same server - i.e. China server.

which API can I use to find out which devices are supported for google home under my account?

I have a xiaomi desk lamp pro and it disappears from Google home. So it won’t support google assistant anymore?

using the same account for both of course.

So I’ve logged into MiHome with the same account as yeelight - all good. All the devices are there. Have then resync’d Googlehome with mihome and removed the duplicate Yeelights to a hidden room.

I guess I didn’t need to actually log into Mi Home.

Add Mi Home to Google Home much like you did for Yeelight - you will see it there.

hmmm, that was what I did but it disappeared one day. My other devices like xiaomi desk lamp (1st gen) are still there

I have tried to re-link mihome many times. And there is even a command “sync all devices” in google assistant.

I have three of these - https://www.mi.com/global/smartlamp - listed in Yeelight app. and thus in MiHome using the same account as yeelight app. And thus in Google Home using MiHome integration.

it is a different version of lamp

no reason it should be handled and different to my lamp - it is supported in both yeelight and mi home.

My bulb shows up (and works) under Mi Home, yet Alexa never finds the bulb, even when using the Mi Home skill.

So did they brick that too? The sole reason I bought this bulb is because it is advertised as working with Alexa.

I guess there’s not going to be a fix for the MiHome skill not showing bulbs under Alexa. Hooray for false advertising of a product.
