We are trying our best to push MiHome to fix this issue. We can not make a rollback, because we are transitioning to a new SmartHome framework. What we can do now is to push them to resolve the problem. Sorry again.

Same problem with my yeelight 650… very disappointed… at the beginning yeelight was great and i had no issues… now just problems… updates don’t work… features are gone… really sad

I just bought YLXD50YL and I can control via alexa to turn it off and turn it on but I can’t voice control the ambilight. So, that was a feature and got remove? For what reason? We really need that feature back.

Any Update or solution? Can i add the lamp to Xiaomi home for the ambilight control via alexa?

Nothing changed. Passed 7 months. I needed to buy a new lamp for living-room but I’m not gonna take it if I cannot control Ambilight from Alexa.

Congratulations!! After last firmware update it is not possible to switch off lamp from remote control and/or from application if you put ambilight…
