Mi LED Desk Lamp S1 - HomeKit "The setup code is incorrect"

I have tried to add the device to HomeKit but I always get “The setup code is incorrect”
Is there anything I can do about this?

Please contact the retailer directly and get a new one if it is under warranty.

So that’s it?..
The only solution is to send it back, wait a month to get a new one from a European outlet and cross my fingers that it would work? Is there any default code or a way to interface with the device and extract the HK code?

Hi did you solve the issue? I have exactly the same i’ve contacted the xiaomi support and nothing, the lamp has been reconized by home app but wheb i pair it say that the code is incorrect
