Buy from Taobao China, can setup using Singapore Server?

I’m intending to get the YLXD12YL ceiling light from Taobao China and ship it over to Singapore. I’m thinking if I can set it up using Singapore server? I’m just afraid it’s locked down to china mainland server and affect my other lights at home. Could anyone enlighten me? Thank you
