As we can see in the 1% too bright thread, there are many of your customers on v2 hardware that are experiencing the 1% brightness level being too bright. And we also see that there was a beta firmware 0037 (?) that allowed for sacrificing color accuracy for an appropriate level of brightness for “1%”. However Yeelight staff now say buy new hardware.
Well this is what I say. Give us a switch in the app and ability in the firmware to use a properly dim 1% brightness, or don’t expect any of us to buy your products ever again. Which would be a shame because I like them.
Please put a switch in the app to allow for lower brightness levels, and if sacrificing color accuracy is the cost, that is fine. We will not be buying v3 hardware because we will have no trust that if other issues surface you will simply tell us to buy v4. You have to fix the hardware we have or at least give a good workaround.
