I have a ceiling lamp 650 which stopped working completely. No light when switch is operated 5 times every 2 seconds for a reset.
I checked 240v at the base plate, all good.
I opened another one new from the box which I was going to fit later, same thing. I swapped the base plates and then put them on a bench supply. Still no light. The first one had been working and the second one was new out the box.
Any help would be appreciated
Please have a check if there’s a good connect with the base plates, it’s rare both lamps don’t work at the same time.
I’m am electrical engineer, I checked the supply to both base plates, swapped the plates between both lights and put them on a bench supply and repeated the tests. Tried resetting them both, neither work. Any other ideas would be much appreciated
