Could you have a try with Yeelight application to see if “Lan Control” is enable?

I use only MI Home software, the Yeelight installed installed recently and only authorized via MI Account ID without adding devices. In the Yeelight software, the “Lan control” option did not include.
After the creation of the topic on the forum there happened something wonderful and the lamp was connected to MI home through the home Wi-Fi point

Make sure you select the same server with Mihome.
