Do I need Xiaomi Gateway to cennect lightstrips wiyh motion sensor? Or is it possible to connect them without need of Gateway?

Yes, you need xiaomi gateway.

All those door sensors, body sensors and switches are Zigbee based, you need xiaomi gateway to connect all those devices into internet.
