Controlling the same device from multiple accounts

Hi!
I just installed my Yeelight Ceiling Light. One thing that is not clear to me is: can more than one person control the same device, each from their own phone, each using their own Mi account?
The reason why I ask is because once I’ve registered the Ceiling Light with Account 1, when I try to register using Account 2, the light doesn’t get discovered, and I have to reset it to make it discoverable from Account 2, but if I do that the light becomes invisible from Account 1.
Am I missing something here?

You have to share the light to another mi account.

Yes, you are right. You can swipe the device card left, there’s an share button for you to share the device to other person. Please remember that please select the same server with other account.
