Yeelight google assist error - cant control your home device

Hi,

I’ve tried to connect my Xiaomi Yeelight products to my Google assistant.

My Yeelight bedside lamp is working, however my Yeelight color bulb is not working. Google assistant gives the error "Sorry, there was an error and I can’t control your home device.

Does anyone know what the issue is?

I’ve got both the yeelight and the xiaomi home app installed on my phone.

i have the same problem
connected to german server, nickname KuroiTenshi, MI ID: 1889768089
i can still control them by the yeelight app, with a consistant delay (~6 seconds between pushing a command to its execution)
but google assistant gives me the same error

Update - it worked once. Very unreliable, I can’t get it to work again.
