Can’t get my Yeelight 1s bulb to connect with yeelight at all

I have reset the bulb a couple of times according to the way I have been told and I have observed the reset too. The yeelight wifi does show up in ny android device however even after connecting to it, I just cannot seem to get it in the device list of yeelight at all. How could I fix this, mind you I have already reset my bulb so what else can I do?
