is it fixed already?
4+ months after confirming a bug, and still no FW update.
Is the bug fixed ?
no answer … i have to restart all lamps periodically…
i recommend to find alternative lamp …
i have few with wifi controller as dedicated board with connector, and hence can be easily replaced with rpi pico …
Has this annoying bug finally been resolved?
No.
This really sucks. I exclusively use LAN control for my bulbs; they’re on a subnet that doesn’t even have internet access; they can’t talk to your cloud. If the only reason for the rate limit is to reduce load on your API, how about a firmware update that only enforces the rate limiting when the bulb can access your API?
Proposal
I send a command to the bulb, the bulb relays that status to the cloud and gets a response. Add Increment the rate-limit counter.
I send a command to the bulb, the bulb relays that status the cloud and gets request time out. Don’t increment the counter (with respect to rate limiting, this request never happened).
Asking again, 1 year later … nearly 4 years after reporting bug … is it fixed in some version already?
Or can we get firmware source, so we can fix it ourselves?
