Mijia Bedside Lamp 2 v2.0.6_0030 firmware issue

My Bedside Lamp 2 shows up on Apple HomeKit with “No Response” every day while my Xiami Smart bulbs have a rock-solid connection to Homekit.

Can you tell me if there is a fix available? Why is everyone asking to be on a whitelist? Is it to enable a firmware update to be shared?
