Mi Home’s hong Kong server now supports all devices! However, in the “add device” menu, devices labelled ‘other’ will not connect. Hopefully this is just a bug and that Xiaomi will fix this very soon!

Clear cache and quit the app in multitasking. Then go into the app again and all the devices should appear there.
