Can't connect to Yeelight RGBW

Hello, i have bought 3 bulbs. Tried to connect to them, i can’t connect not even single bulb! I read all manual that i found, reset them numerous times. Mihome and Yeelight app both don’t see them. I have dual band router and i am connected to 2.4 GHz, ssid is visible. They can’t be all 3 defective right?. Device from which i am trying to connect is meizu mx6.

Maybe your phone is on 5Ghz and bulbs on 2.4Ghz?

No, phone connected to 2.4Ghz. Just tried created access point on another phone, shared mobile internet. Bulbs connected, all work fine. Tried connecting using my router, nothing works again. Router is dlink dir 825G1. Tried to turn of 5 GHz and leave only 2.4 GHz, won’t help. Tried changing different settings, no effect. I don’t have any specific security settings in router, no mac filter or something. Same wpa2-psk security encryption in booth mobile access point and router.

Hi, I am having the same problem… can’t connect bulb to router wifi but they connect to another phone using personal hotspot.

So far no luck for me resolving it, hope you get a solution

Since you can connect the device to the hotspots with another phone, this means the bulbs works well. So could you post the ping result of “sg.ot.io.mi.com” or “ot.io.mi.com”? I think there is something wrong with your ISP, maybe they block the connect with xiaomi domain.

Hello,
I have yeelight color bulb. I had no problem until a few days ago I changed internet service provider and router. The new router has both 2.4 and 5 ghz. I connect the phone and bulb to 2.4 ghz, but cannot connect the bulb. It says timed out in Android device, and in ios, it just goes on to connect for a while and then it says it failed. On the router settings page, it says yeelight is among connected devices. Any suggestions?
